After an embarrassing loss to the Rams, the New Orleans Saints need to get back on track and these 3 guys hold the key to victory over the Seahawks.

The New Orleans Saints were anything but successful in Week 2. Rather than having a huge game against the Los Angeles Rams, the team floundered. It was more embarrassing than anything as all of us had hoped for a huge-scoring affair and an NFC playoff rematch.

Unfortunately for the Saints, the game was rife with injuries, including a serious one to Drew Brees that takes him out of the huddle for at least six weeks.

With Brees out, Teddy Bridgewater had to step in with mixed results. It’s clear that Bridgewater is no Brees as the final score ended up being 27-9 in favor of the Rams. Looking ahead to Week 3, the Saints face another heavy-weight in Russell Wilson and his Seahawks. As per usual, Seattle is hyped up and with starting off the season 2-0, who can blame them?

Unfortunately for the Saints, Week 3 is the start of a somewhat annoying stretch. With a loss to the Rams, a win against the Seahawks is a must. A few guys stepped up in Week 2 and it showed but not enough to take the Saints out of the hole. In Week 3, there are three guys in particular who really have to make plays.

If they don’t, the Saints could fall to 1-2, proving that they can’t win without Brees. If that’s the case, then it’s going to be a long six weeks. Hopefully, most of the guys step up but in particular, these three players need to or the Saints can kiss goodbye to their Super Bowl ticket.
