CB. Las Vegas Raiders. Bryce Hall. 17. player. 28.

Pick via Bears

Bryce Hall out of Virginia probably isn’t the same level of defensive player that Khalil Mack is, which is relevant as the Oakland Raiders traded Mack for the package that includes this selection. However, the cornerback from Virginia gives the silver and black a much-needed upgrade at cornerback and a player that can offer stability to a defensive grouping that has been sorely lacking in that department.

EDGE. Atlanta Falcons. K'Lavon Chaisson. 18. player. 44.

A mentioned in a previous NFL Mock Draft, K’Lavon Chaisson is one of my draft crushes in 2020. The LSU edge rusher checks every box for what you want out of the position from a prospect, except for the fact that he’s largely inexperienced. What he has put on film, though, jumps off the tape and he’s a player an Atlanta Falcons team that needs a standout up front beyond Grady Jarrett should jump at the opportunity to get.

IOL. Los Angeles Chargers. Creed Humphrey. 19. player. 13.

You could make the argument (and I have) that the Los Angeles Chargers could replace Melvin Gordon here. However, Austin Ekeler and Justin Jackson look more than capable of doing that without using a first-round pick. As such, they upgrade an ailing offensive line with the second-best interior offensive lineman in the country, Creed Humphrey from Oklahoma, who will come in and immediately help grade the road in Los Angeles.

. DT. Minnesota Vikings. Derrick Brown. 20. player. 60

There are viable questions about the defensive line of the Minnesota Vikings moving forward. With such a strong overall roster, though, they can afford to address that right now and they do so with a faller in this 2020 NFL Mock Draft, Derrick Brown out of Auburn. He doesn’t fall because of talent but rather need though as he’s a day one starter if needed in Minnesota.
