1. Oakland picks up a big road victory

The Oakland Raiders play their first road game of the 2019 season when they travel to Minnesota. Road trips being what they are, they get a team who looked great against the Atlanta Falcons and very average against their division rival, Packers.

One thing Raiders fans can count on is facing a team whose quarterback is proving to be more bark than bite. It’s also the first time in a long while that the best team from top to bottom is from Oakland. That’s significant

Getting a team as up and down as the Vikings is a trip the Raiders are fortunate to open with. It’s also a chance to correct a host of correctable errors from a game Oakland seemed to still be in at halftime despite the score.

In Week 3, the Raiders have a defense that can win on the road. They also have a quarterback and offense that can score points with an improving running game and an aggressive passing game.

Oakland wins in Minnesota because they are better on both sides of the football. Best of all, they play a quarterback in Cousins who can go south with little help. Against an aggressive defense like the Raiders, he’ll self destruct early and often. He alone will be the single biggest help in moving the Silver and Black to 2-1.

Final Score: Raiders 31, Vikings 17
