NFL Power Rankings, Week 4: Daniel Jones ignites Giants, Packers stay perfect

23. Los Angeles Chargers (14)
Things haven’t been good for the Los Angeles Chargers this season as they fell to 1-2 after a 27-20 loss to the Houston Texans. They’re not just off to a slow start but there have also been some issues off the field as well.
One is the Melvin Gordon drama as their star running back is still holding out after the team said they will no longer negotiate a new contract with him. In addition to that, there has now been reports that there’s friction between them and the Rams when it comes to building their new stadium in Inglewood.
"“Multiple sources confirm there is friction in the Rams Chargers Inglewood Stadium relationship and the Chargers may not be pulling their share. This is a serious issue.” — Fred Roggin of NBC LA said via Twitter"
For whatever reason, the Chargers simply can’t get the fanbase they need. Right now, they’re playing in a soccer stadium which is a fraction of the size of a regular NFL stadium and they can’t fill that.
Hopefully, something turns around for them but the frustration for them is real. And it won’t get any easier if they don’t start reeling off some wins real soon.
