22. Atlanta Falcons (15)

On Sunday Night Football, the Atlanta Falcons reminded the sporting world that they’re a team that can make life difficult on their opponents. Following an embarrassing loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1, they hosted the Philadelphia Eagles in primetime. Philly was favored in that one, but Atlanta was able to pull off the exciting victory thanks to a game-winning touchdown catch by Julio Jones.

With that momentum on their side, they traveled to Indianapolis to take on the Colts, but they were shocked by the Jacoby Brissett-led franchise. Indy took a quick lead as they were up 20-3 in the first half. Atlanta should be applauded for refusing to give up as they did fight back into this one and made it a game.

Early in the fourth, they were able to make it a 20-17 score when tight end Austin Hooper pulled in his second touchdown catch of the night. The defense then surrendered an 11-play, 75-yard drive that ended with a touchdown by Marlon Mack.

Again, the Falcons kept fighting and Julio Jones scored on a 10-yard pass but that was the final score. Overall, Jones had 128 yards and a touchdown but it wasn’t enough as the Dirty Birds find themselves in a tough 1-2 hole to start the season.
