18. Tennessee Titans (11)

There was a time when Chip Kelly was coaching in the NFL that he would have given up all his draft picks for his former quarterback from Oregon. Of course, Kelly’s career didn’t last long and he was also unable to land his coveted signal-caller. Instead, Mariota went to the Tennessee Titans as the No. 2 overall pick in the draft.

Fast forward to 2019 and there’s serious doubt that he’s the answer for the boys from Nashville. On the surface, his 304 yards seems great from Week 3, but in reality, he played terribly. Mariota held on to the ball for far too long and was sacked nine times.
He also had a hard time making his reads and just looked overwhelmed at times.

Unfortunately, this is becoming an all-too-common theme with Mariota who simply isn’t taking that next step as a starter.

This could lead to his benching in favor of Ryan Tannehill, who by no means is not without warts of his own. Still, this team has two good running backs and an underrated defense. They should be able to compete in the AFC South but they haven’t been able to do that. Their latest game was a beat-down at the hands of the Jaguars and could signify some coming change.
