17. Philadelphia Eagles (12)

For the past two weeks, the Philadelphia Eagles have found themselves on the wrong side of an upset. In Week 2, they were in Atlanta playing the Falcons and were upset on a late touchdown from Julio Jones. That sent them to 1-1, but they had a shot to redeem themselves at home against the Detroit Lions, but that ended up not happening.

Philly went up 3-0 but then surrendered a 100-yard kickoff return following the 25-yard field goal from Jake Elliott. They responded well by going 75 yards on nine plays on the following drive. Jordan Howard capped that off with a one-yard touchdown to give them the lead back at 14-10, but that was the last time they had the lead.

Detroit ended up taking it by a score of 27-24, holding off a comeback attempt from Philly. That makes them 1-2 on the young campaign which is a far cry from what they were expecting. With Carson Wentz healthy following two campaigns that ended with him on the sidelines, the Eagles were expecting big things.

However, they’ve struggled on defense and offensively, they’ve generated a lot of yards but have had a hard time making the clutch plays they need to win.
