NFL Power Rankings, Week 4: Daniel Jones ignites Giants, Packers stay perfect

16. Jacksonville Jaguars (28)
If someone tries to tell you that Gardner Minshew has not already earned a spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, simply walk away. That kind of negativity isn’t necessary and does no one any good.
In all seriousness, the mustache-sporting quarterback from Washington State had a game to remember on Thursday Night Football. Despite being a sixth-round pick and playing on a short week, he was up to the task and led the Jacksonville Jaguars to a 20-7 win over the Tennessee Titans.
For Jacksonville, it was their first win of the season and it was a convincing victory at that. Minshew threw for 204 yards and two touchdowns in the first quarter. More importantly, he didn’t turn the ball over which was enough to lead his team to the win.
When Nick Foles went down with a broken collarbone, it was unknown how this team would fare at the position. The season is still young but if they fail to find success it doesn’t seem as though that will fall on his shoulders as the rookie is taking the opportunity afforded to him and running with it.
Should he continue his solid play, and if the defense can get back to their 2017 form, the Jaguars could try and make some noise in the AFC South.
