15. Chicago Bears (16): Play on Monday vs. Washington
The Chicago Bears hit the road for Monday Night Football as they play the Washington Redskins in the nation’s capital. It’s the second prime time game for the Bears who started the season out with a 10-3 loss to the Green Bay Packers at home.
They then left Soldier Field to travel to Denver for a game with the Broncos. They found a way to win that game, but it wasn’t the most convincing win as they snuck out of the Mile-High city with a 16-14 win.
Of course, the best takeaway for them is that their defense is still playing great football. They’ve surrendered just 24 points in their first two games, which is enough to keep them in any game. The problem is, their offense has just 19 total points.
Head coach Matt Nagy did all he could to generate some offense in 2018 as the Bears won the NFC North but they don’t look as though they have taken the next step on that side of the ball. A meeting with Washington could help them find their stride as they’ve struggled to slow their opponents down in each of their first two games of the season.
