NFL Power Rankings, Week 4: Daniel Jones ignites Giants, Packers stay perfect

14. Houston Texans (18)
Deshaun Watson continues to make things happen for the Houston Texans even when he’s not getting a whole lot of help. The Houston Texans finally have a better offensive line thanks to their blockbuster trade for Laremy Tunsil, but now Watson is having to run an offense with a rather anemic running game.
Sure, they’ve found a hole here or there, but Sunday was a good example of what he’s been working with. Carlos Hyde scored a touchdown but was able to get just 19 yards on 10 rushes. Duke Johnson, Jr. was good for two yards on two carries, giving them 21 yards on 12 rushes. Watson was able to help them as he was their best runner, finishing with 18 yards on seven carries.
It really was a gritty performance by Watson who guided his team to their second win in three games this season. And each of those wins was one-score games proving they’re a strong-willed team that doesn’t buckle in pressure situations.
Houston also had a great game out of J.J. Watt, who had two sacks on Philip Rivers. Clearly the best player the Texans have ever had, Watt is still going strong and has to love the fact that there’s finally a good offense playing on the other side of the ball.
