NFL Power Rankings, Week 4: Daniel Jones ignites Giants, Packers stay perfect

13. Minnesota Vikings (13)
It may not have seemed like it just by looking at the schedule, but the Week 3 matchup between the Minnesota Vikings and Oakland Raiders was huge for the home team. Minnesota had a convincing win in their opening game as they smoked the Atlanta Falcons by a score of 28-12. They hardly even threw the ball in that one as they had such a commanding lead they were able to run the clock out for much of the second half.
Then, they had a tough outing against the Green Bay Packers as quarterback Kirk Cousins was unable to get anything going as he had two interceptions in the defeat. It was frustrating as Cousins was given a fully guaranteed three-year contract worth $84 million so they could win games such as the ones against the Packers. However, he continues to struggle with consistency which had a lot of eyes on him going into this one.
Cousins ended up playing well as he got the game started off on the right foot with an early 35-yard touchdown pass to Adam Thielen. He looked much better overall and they also had a great game out of running back Dalvin Cook who went for 110 yards and a touchdown off 16 carries.
Should he continue to roll, and if Cousins can find that consistency, this could be a team to watch in the NFC. Their defense is still a huge strength, so if the offense improves they could make some noise.
