Fantasy Football: Waiver wire adds for Week 4
Running Back
Wayne Gallman, Giants (1.2 percent owned) – Wayne Gallman isn’t Saquon Barkley, which is the easiest analysis possible to provide. However, with Barkley out for a couple of months, Gallman is the guy for Big Blue and, when given a bigger workload, he’s been a fine fantasy football player. He’s not going to win you weeks but he might not lose you weeks, which could be big if you’re a Saquon owner.
Rex Burkhead, Patriots (22.1 percent owned) – Some might write off Rex Burkhead’s big fantasy football outing in Week 3 as James White not being in the lineup. That’s fair, but the Patriots running back is still averaging 13.7 fantasy points per week this season. He’s going to be a factor in the passing game and, even if the rushing can’t be counted on, he’s a valuable addition.
Darrel Williams, Chiefs (2.5 percent owned) – Put simply, we don’t know what’s going on with the status of both LeSean McCoy and Damien Williams. Having said that, Darrel Williams got some work on Sunday and looked great, posting nine carries for 62 yards and five receptions for 47 yards. He may need to be stashed but, if called into action, he proved he can be a big-time factor in the Chiefs offense.
Jamaal Williams, Packers (15.9 percent owned) – While it looked like Aaron Jones might be the top dog in Green Bay, Jamaal Williams continues to get a big chunk of the workload. Williams had 12 carries to lead the Packers in Week 3 and has at least two receptions in each game this season. With Jones also a little banged up right now — even though Williams is too — adding the former BYU star is at least a bit intriguing.
