1. Aaron Rodgers, QB

Aaron Rodgers would be (and has been) the first to admit that he and the Packers offense have not been playing up to par in their 3-0 start to the season. The quarterback has been fine through the first three weeks but he hasn’t been the Rodgers that we’ve come to expect, averaging just 215.7 yards and 1.3 touchdowns per game thus far.

It’s obviously not mattered considering the fact that Green Bay is unbeaten to this point in the year. At the same time, though, the Packers could be viable Super Bowl contenders if their offense can turn it up a notch, which all starts with their star signal-caller. And a matchup against the Philadelphia secondary is exactly what the doctor ordered to get things jump-started.

The Eagles have given up 300 yards per game through the air in the first three games of the season. And you could make the argument that only the Falcons out of their first three opponents have the offensive prowess that the Packers possess. And with Ronald Darby out and the Eagles secondary looking awful, in addition to their line also being short-handed, that’s a great recipe for Green Bay.

Week 4, even on a short week and playing on Thursday Night Football, is a prime opportunity for Rodgers to take it up a notch. He’s a player that has the talent to dice up any defense in the NFL. However, in a matchup where he has a clear advantage from the get-go, he needs to make a statement with his first big game of the 2019 campaign.
