New England Patriots (3-0) at Buffalo Bills (3-0)

Sunday, September 29, 1PM ET

Until Tom Brady decides to hang up his cleats, we may continue to watch the New England Patriots torment the rest of the NFL. That’s rung true in 2019, as the Patriots have bulldozed each and every team that they’ve seen through three weeks.

There’s one small caveat to consider, though. Through the first three weeks, the Patriots have played teams that have combined for a record of 0-9. They teed off on the miserable Dolphins, and then made a mockery of the New York Jets and their third-string quarterback. This matchup with the Buffalo Bills will be their first against a team worth taking seriously.

In fact, it may be closer than most assume. While the Buffalo offense isn’t nearly as dominant as New England’s has been so far, Josh Allen is a playmaker who does a great job of keeping his team in games. More importantly, the Bills defense has been spectacular in 2019, and could give Brady a run for his money on Sunday.

In the end, though, it won’t be enough. Even if Buffalo keeps it close, Brady will work his magic and put the Patriots ahead in the final minutes. The Patriots suffer their first close call of the 2019 season, but survive and improve their record to an unsurprising 4-0.

Prediction: Patriots win 30-24
