4. Anthony Miller finally gets involved

In the first two games of the season, Anthony Miller received just two passing targets. In the game against Washington, he had three targets. He had just a catch for 15 yards but it was nice to see him get more than one target at least.

I expect Miller to have even more targets against the Vikings. They’ll probably cover Robinson more than he has been in the first three games, and with Gabriel’s big game in Week 3, he’ll attract more attention as well.

Miller had a good rookie season. Despite dealing with a shoulder injury, he made 35 catches for 440 yards. In addition, he led all rookies with seven touchdown catches.

Miller is a dynamic receiver. He has plenty of confidence, bordering on cocky. It is time for head coach Matt Nagy and Trubisky to involve him more in the passing game. He showed that when he’s involved the offense runs smoother. The defense cannot cover every receiver so he’ll be left open. When he starts making plays, it opens the field up for Robinson and Gabriel.

Out of the slot, Miller is dangerous. He runs good routes and has tremendous hands. He can make the contested catch and turn a short pass into a big gain. The offense needs some big plays and Miller could help in getting those big plays done by making a few catches and turning in a big play, thus attracting attention away from the other top receivers.

Hopefully, we see Miller time happen at Soldier Field come this Sunday.

Prediction: 8 targets, 5 catches, 88 yards, 1 touchdown
