2. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix goes back-to-back

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix had himself a great game against his old team. He had a 37-yard pick-six on Washington’s first drive. On Washington’s first drive of the second half, Clinton-Dix hit again, intercepting another Case Keenum pass and taking it 59 yards. That’s two interceptions, a touchdown and 96 return yards.

Clinton-Dix played in nine games after getting traded by the Packers last season. In those games, he failed to grab an interception. In just one game, against his former team, he grabbed two.

Clinton-Dix hoped to hit it big through free agency. The only real offer was made by Washington. He decided to bet on himself, however. He felt that if he played on an elite defense like the one the Chicago Bears have, he’d up his game and record big numbers. Also, it didn’t hurt that he’d be playing alongside his friend and former University of Alabama teammate Eddie Jackson. So far, he’s fitting in just fine.

After Monday night’s game, Nagy called on Clinton-Dix in the locker room and he had words for his teammates, per NBC Sports Chicago:

"“I came here to be a part of something special. Let’s enjoy this win!”"

I think the game he had in Week 3 will be a springboard for him. He’ll thrive in this defense and he’ll make this defense even better (as crazy as that sounds). Both he and Jackson are big-time ballhawks and as the season progresses it’ll be very tough for opposing quarterbacks to avoid turnovers with those two and Kyle Fuller and Prince Amukamara in the secondary.

Prediction: 7 tackles, 1 forced fumble, 1 interception
