Here are five head coaches that should consider themselves on the hot seat heading into NFL Week 4 of the 2019 season.
With three games already in the books, football fans are beginning to get a better understanding of which head coaches deserve to be on the hot seat heading into NFL Week 4 of the 2019 season, as the pressure continues to heat up.
Take a look at the situation the Washington Redskins are currently dealing with for example, as Jay Gruden and company are coming off another tough loss Monday night to the Chicago Bears.
In a way, the argument can be made that Washington could be sitting at 2-1 when looking at how close they came to knocking off the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys, but unfortunately the Redskins remain winless heading into the fourth week of action.
Plenty of factors come into play behind why the Redskins have been struggling, but when stuff like this happens, it’s the head coach that receives a majority of the blame, which is where Gruden comes into play.
Gruden was already facing plenty of pressure entering the new season since he’s only led Washington to one playoff appearance over the years, and it’s even more embarrassing to see his Redskins be the only team within the division that has yet to win.
If Gruden were smart, he would insert Dwayne Haskins into the starting lineup over Case Keenum to help use the “rookie quarterback” situation as an excuse, but for some reason, the head coach seems set on sticking with the veteran.
As for who else is facing heavy pressure entering the final weekend of September, here are some other head coaches that deserve to be on the hot seat along with Gruden.
