4. Stafford, Mahomes combine for 10 touchdown passes

After football fans were treated to an exciting matchup last weekend between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens, Andy Reid’s team could be in for another difficult matchup when taking on the Detroit Lions.

During Week 3, the Lions made a huge statement in regards to being a top contender in the NFC by going on the road and knocking off the Philadelphia Eagles.

Even if some will make the case that Philadelphia’s injuries gave Detroit a major advantage, this shouldn’t take away from the Lions still being one of a few remaining undefeated teams left heading into the weekend, even with the tie against the Arizona Cardinals.

Whether Detroit has what it takes to knock off Kansas City will most likely come down to whether the defense can keep Patrick Mahomes in check, but that nearly seems impossible these days.

Matthew Stafford is nowhere near the same level as Mahomes after the Chiefs star took home MVP honors last year, but this game could very well turn into a shootout between the two teams.

Predicting that Mahomes and Stafford will combine for 10 touchdown passes sounds like a stretch, but still possible if both teams show up to play.
