After a huge win over the Seattle Seahawks, the New Orleans Saints face another challenge against the Dallas Cowboys but who can ensure a Saints win?

Week 3 for the New Orleans Saints was huge and, thankfully, the team pulled together and got a win over the Seattle Seahawks. Most notably, their victory came via their special teams and defense.

Their returner, Deonte Harris, took a punt for 53 yards for a touchdown and the team got an early lead against the Seahawks. Vonn Bell also recovered a fumble and ran it back for a touchdown, too.

As good as their defense and special teams were, the Saints offense put on a pretty good showing without Drew Brees at the helm. Teddy Bridgewater threw for two touchdowns, including one to Alvin Kamara and one to Michael Thomas, both favorite targets of Brees. Fans, including myself, were initially ready to hit the panic button but getting the W against Seattle on the road was massive.

Unfortunately, the Saints face another challenge in week 4 when they face off against the 3-0 Dallas Cowboys. Last year, these two teams faced off with the Cowboys getting the victory and snapping the Saints winning-streak. Meeting again in 2019 gives the Saints the perfect opportunity to get a little revenge even without Drew Brees.

Since their meeting is the Sunday Night game, then there’s bound to be a lot of hype surrounding it and rightfully so. These two teams keep getting closer and closer to the Super Bowl but never end up getting there. It’s only Week 4, though so no early Super Bowl talk yet. If the Saints want to emerge victorious over the Cowboys, then these three guys need to have a big game.
