2. Cameron Jordan

Moving to the other side of the ball, one name that hasn’t garnered nearly enough praise this season is Cameron Jordan. Jordan is the leader of the defense and while his numbers haven’t been as high as someone like Demario Davis, Jordan is still the crux of the defense. That’s why it’s imperative that Jordan has a good game against the Cowboys.

Looking back at their meeting in 2018, Jordan finished the game with seven combined tackles and two sacks. Putting up similar numbers in this game is going to ensure the Saints handle Dak Prescott as he has been lighting up in the second half.

However, Jordan needs to make sure to keep the pressure on him consistently or the Cowboys offensive line will punish him for it. Most notably, rattling Zack Martin and Travis Frederick is going to rattle the Cowboys offense.

Jordan shouldn’t just focus on Prescott, though. He needs to make sure that he’s stifling the run game too which is where Miami failed last week. If Ezekiel Elliott can find an opportunity, he’ll make the most of it and Jordan needs to stop those plays as quickly as he can.

While he’ll have his teammates by his side, Jordan has proven that he can handle the Cowboys pretty well on his own and after a big defensive performance against Seattle, the defense needs another big night against Dallas.
