While the Baltimore Ravens hope to rebound, the Cleveland Browns just want to find their footing in Week 4. Bold predictions for this AFC North matchup.

When we first saw the Cleveland Browns traveling to play the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4, many fans circled the matchup as one of the best games of the young 2019 season. And while the game at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday afternoon could very well still end up being an entertaining contest, these two teams aren’t in the spots that many expected them to be after three weeks.

The Browns are certainly the more surprising of the two teams based on preseason expectations and not in a good way. With high-profile offseason additions Odell Beckham Jr., Olivier Vernon and more, Baker Mayfield and Cleveland were being considered a potential Super Bowl contender. Instead, they’ve been all out of sorts and, at 1-2, they look to be lucky if they make the postseason at all.

In the case of the home team on Sunday afternoon, the Ravens were expected to be good with Lamar Jackson entering year two but perhaps not as good as they’ve been. Jackson has been electric with Mark Ingram and the likes of Mark Andrews and Marquise Brown helping lead the offense and they come into the AFC North matchup with a 2-1 ledger.

However, the Ravens are coming off of their first loss of the 2019 season, falling one week ago to the juggernaut Kansas City Chiefs. As such, they’ll certainly be hungry to get back in the win column and to continue silencing the preseason hype around the Browns. But the Browns, as lackluster as they’ve been, won’t go down without a fight.

Taking all of the narratives, all of the talent and all of the matchups into account when these two teams face off on Sunday, let’s make five bold predictions for the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens in their Week 4 matchup.
