Building the ideal DraftKings NFL lineup for Week 4

My go-to strategy when constructing a DraftKings NFL lineup — as is the case for most people — is to balance base-line production with upside in addition to identifying favorable matchups, both in terms of production and game-flow. That’s what I’ve tried to do here with a lineup that I’ll stake my claim is a winner.

QB: Patrick Mahomes, $7,500
RB: Mark Ingram, $6,600
RB: Darrel Williams, $4,700
WR: Keenan Allen, $7,600
WR: Tyrell Williams, $5,700
WR: Demarcus Robinson, $5,200
TE: Evan Engram, $5,700
FLEX: T.J. Hockenson, $3,300
D/ST: Patriots, $3,700
Remaining Budget: $0

Normally, I like to leave a little bit of remaining budget to work with, in case anyone wants to adjust some things slightly. That’s not the case here, however.

Spending big on Mahomes is the right move this week. He’s in a dome, he’s in a potential shootout and he’s by far the most consistently productive quarterback in the NFL. Stacking him with Williams and Robinson is a strong call as it gives you value options to build your lineup with.

On top of that, Hockenson and Engram are a strong tight end duo that should get a ton of work. Combine that with Allen in the best matchup of Week 4 against Miami and then Tyrell Williams, who has a touchdown in every game this year, and this is a strong, strong DraftKings lineup.

Playing the right matchups and looking at the slate, this lineup is a winner. I’m not saying you’re going to be a millionaire off this lineup (but if you do, I’ll take 10 percent) but you should surely get some return on your DFS investment in Week 4 here.
