Before the Minnesota Vikings take on the Chicago Bears in Week 4 on Sunday, here are three bold predictions for Minnesota heading into the game.

With the fourth week of the 2019 NFL regular season officially here and underway, the Minnesota Vikings will be faced with another tough inter-division contest on Sunday afternoon. With Week 4 of the season kicking off on Thursday night between Green Bay and Philadelphia, the rest of the league will play in their fourth games of the year on Sunday and Monday.

Among the many interesting matchups throughout the NFL this week, Minnesota will hit the road to face off against the Chicago Bears in an early-season important NFC North showdown at Soldier Field in Chicago.

The Vikings come into the game on Sunday riding high after breezing past the Oakland Raiders 34-14 at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis during Week 3 of action around the league. While holding a record of 2-1 overall, Minnesota is a perfect 2-0 at home this season but are a winless 0-1 on the road so far this year.

The Vikings, which are tied with the Bears in third place in the NFC North standings trailing both the Detroit Lions (2-0-1 overall) and the Green Bay Packers (3-1) atop the division, look to improve that winless record away from their home field to an even 1-1 following the Week 4 showdown in a Chicago.

The Bears, on the other hand, are also coming off of a victory a week ago, having taken down the Washington Redskins 31-15 on the road to secure their second straight win.

Chicago, which improved to 2-1 on the year with the victory over Washington in Week 3, is 0-1 at home this year. The lone home game of the year thus far for the Bears resulted in a 10-3 loss to the Packers in the season opener.

Not only will Sunday’s game between Minnesota and Chicago be an important contest in general for both squads as they each look to keep momentum rolling, but the winner will also bump the opposition into last place in the NFC North standings through four weeks of the regular season.

Prior to Minnesota heading into an important early-season contest against Chicago on Sunday afternoon in Chicago, let’s dive into three bold predictions for the Vikings that’s will take place during the Week 4 game.
