2. Cousins, Trubisky will have to show up early and often

It’s going to be a battle of the quarterbacks as the Bears and Vikings face off in Week 4.  Whichever quarterback is able to put together a better and more complete game on Sunday afternoon, their team will exit Soldier Field in Chicago with a win to extend their winning streaks.

On one side of the field, you have Vikings veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins, who is off to somewhat of an up-and-down start to the 2019 campaign while also carrying the reputation of not being able to step up in big games for his teams throughout his NFL career.

Coming into Sunday’s matchup in Week 4, Cousins ranks 28th in the NFL among other quarterbacks in passing yards this season, totaling 502 yards through the air through three games. He also ranks tied for 24th in touchdowns thrown (three), 35th in passing attempts per game (21.0) and 38th in completion percentage (58.7 percent) so far this year.

Cousins will have the prove everyone wrong and step up for Minnesota this weekend.

On the other side of the field stands Bears young quarterback Mitch Trubisky, who has proven to be a steady quarterback for Chicago throughout the course of his professional career thus far.

Trubisky comes into the matchup against the Vikings ranking 25th in the NFL in total passing yards, compiling 579 passing yards entering Week 4. He also ranks tied for 18th in passing attempts per game (34.3), 22nd in completion percentage (65.0 percent) and is tied for 24th in the league with three touchdowns.

Cousins and Trubisky will have to show up early on and often in Sunday’s contest and they will have to try and outshine the other quarterback behind center while battling against a stellar defense on the other side of the line of scrimmage at the same time.

Whichever quarterback can step up and shine for their team, that team will come away with a big NFC North victory in Week 4.
