The situation with the Washington Redskins is infuriating. They’re a team that clearly didn’t plan on bottoming out but is doing so nonetheless. As they have a quarterback already, though, they need to address a problematic secondary where the likes of Josh Norman are underperforming. Kristian Fulton from LSU can help with that, a corner with lockdown potential that should see the field immediately in D.C.
Isaiah Simmons. 10. player. 13. . LB/S. Los Angeles Chargers
It’s fair to say that the Los Angeles Chargers don’t need another safety on their roster. However, they are in need of a big-time playmaker at linebacker and, lucky for them, Isaiah Simmons from Clemson could be that. He’s certainly more of a hybrid right now but with added weight as he transitions to the pro level, the athletic marvel could come in and address that for the Bolts.
44. . DT. Atlanta Falcons. Derrick Brown. 11. player
Derrick Brown chose to return to Auburn for another season rather than entering the 2019 draft and the defensive tackle made the right call. He’s been a game-wrecker so far this season and the Auburn product could be a beast for the Atlanta Falcons front. Outside of Grady Jarrett, the Dirty Birds are severely lacking in terms of the ability to create pressure and Brown can provide a 1-2 punch on the interior to aid the cause.
Paulson Adebo. 12. player. 87. . CB. Carolina Panthers
James Bradberry is a fine player for the Carolina Panthers but the rest of the secondary is not a group that you have much confidence in. The Cardiac Cats take advantage of a deep cornerback class in this 2020 NFL Mock Draft to land Paulson Adebo from Stanford. With great physical tools and even better natural instincts at the position, the Cardinal star could be just what the doctor ordered for Carolina.
