2020 NFL Mock Draft: Dolphins reborn with Tua, Wirfs, Browns upgrade line
Jarran Reed’s suspension to start the 2019 season has highlighted the lack of depth in the front seven for the Seattle Seahawks. Meanwhile, defensive tackle Marvin Wilson has emerged as an elite prospect for Florida State early in the college football season. With athleticism and power up front, the Seahawks would get a player that can help wreak havoc in the trenches for years to come.
On their way to a 3-0 start this season, the Buffalo Bills have shown their defensive prowess. At the same time, though, they could use some youth as it pertains to their edge rushers. LSU’s K’Lavon Chaisson is an athletic force that, while he still has a lot left to prove, it’s impossible for NFL teams not to salivate over what he can potentially be at the next level.
Kenny Golladay’s emergence in the Detroit Lions offense has been quite a pleasant surprise. However, that shouldn’t preclude them from getting more talented pass-catchers to get the offense rolling. Laviska Shenault Jr. is that type of player. The Colorado product is a versatile playmaker that can slot in between Golladay and Marvin Jones early in his career and then replace the latter when his contract is up after 2020.
While Malik Hooker was a first-round pick at safety, the Indianapolis Colts very clearly need more depth at the position. A player like Xavier McKinney from Alabama can be that and pair nicely with Hooker. Both have ability in coverage but McKinney offers the ability to be moved around and play up a bit more than his new counterpart, making him a great fit in this NFL Mock Draft for the Colts.
