The Dallas Cowboys put their perfect record on the line against a Teddy Bridgewater-led New Orleans Saints team on Sunday Night Football in Week 4

Week 4 of Sunday Night Football was supposed to bring us a rematch of one of the most shocking games of the 2018 season. Last year on Thursday Night Football, the Dallas Cowboys hosted the New Orleans Saints and the defense for Big D made life miserable for the Saints starting quarterback Drew Brees.

The future Hall of Fame quarterback was held to just 127 yards passing on 18 completions in 28 attempts. He threw one touchdown but was picked off late in the 13-10 victory for the Cowboys.

It was a defining game for the NFC East champions as it propelled them to a fantastic finish. For the Saints, they still made it to the NFC Championship game but surely had this game circled on their calendar to get some level of revenge.

Unfortunately, we won’t see Brees in action as he is out following surgery on his thumb. That means Teddy Bridgewater will get his second start of the season following their 33-27 win over the Seattle Seahawks last week.

New Orleans did benefit from a punt return and fumble return for touchdowns, which surely helped out Bridgewater who managed just 177 yards passing. That’s no knock on the backup as he did what he was supposed to do — protected the football and got the win.

Things just won’t be so easy against this Dallas team that’s been on a roll to kick off this season. They’re sitting at 3-0 and have made it look easy to this point as their offense is clicking under new coordinator Kellen Moore.

Even without Brees, this is a must-watch game that could have playoff implications later in the season. With all that being said we look forward to it with these five bold predictions.
