Wide Receivers

JuJu Smith-Schuster, PIT (vs. CIN), $6,600: Everyone’s favorite bicyclist hasn’t lit it up this season, but he has seen at least seven targets in each of his first three games. Imagine what will happen when Mason Rudolph discovers what will happen if he throws JuJu’s way as often as Dalton targets Tyler Boyd (see below). After a long touchdown last week, expect that to start happening sooner rather than later.

Tyler Lockett, SEA (at ARI), $6,300: Lockett is my WR1 this week. You know where I stand on his $6,300 price tag. Buy! Buy! Buy! I haven’t been this excited about a matchup since Mike Evans last week. I offer no promises of a three touchdown game, but 100 yards and a score will be his floor.

Brandin Cooks, LAR (vs. TB), $6,200 and Robert Woods, LAR (vs TB), $6,100: Priced lower than Cooper Kupp, but just as likely to post big numbers, Cooks and Woods bring high ceilings into a matchup against a Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense that just transformed much-maligned rookie quarterback Daniel Jones into an overnight sensation. Expect a get-right game from Jared Goff, and these two should benefit.

Tyler Boyd, CIN (at PIT), $6,200: Boyd, a target monster so far this season, draws a favorable match-up against a bottom-tier pass defense on Monday night. Through three games, he has averaged 8 catches on 11 targets, and demonstrated consistency while doing so. Expect him to haul in his long-overdue first touchdown of the season.

Kenny Golladay, DET (vs. KC), $5,900: Monitor Stafford’s status closely. If the Lions quarterback is expected to be limited or ruled out entirely, sit Golladay. Otherwise, expect the big play specialist to get back on track against a defense prone to giving them up.

Honorable Mentions: There are riskier options who offer big game potential at bargain bin prices. If you have a spot left to fill on a limited budget, take a look at Parris Campbell, IND (vs. OAK, $4,900), Corey Davis, TEN (at ATL, $4,200), Preston Williams, MIA (vs. LAC, $3,900), Devin Smith, DAL (at NO, $3,700), David Moore, SEA (at ARI, $3,400), or Deon Cain, IND (vs. OAK, $3,200).
