DraftKings NFL Bargains: Best DFS value picks in Week 4

Tight Ends
Evan Engram, NYG (vs WAS), $5,700: Engram should continue to feast on opposing defenses, who must now respect Daniel Jones’ legs. The return of Sterling Shepard should help keep the middle of the field open, and the absences of Barkley and Golden Tate should allow Engram to continue to see plenty of targets, especially in the red zone.
Darren Waller, OAK (at IND), $5,200: Waller is putting up numbers that are in line with a starting-caliber wide receiver but at a tight end price. Starting Waller at tight end is an obvious recommendation, but sliding him into your flex spot behind Dissly (see below) is a sneaky play that will free up a ton of cash.
Will Dissly, SEA (at ARI), $3,600: While Waller was on the radar of many industry analysts going into the season, Dissly was a late-round flier in only the deepest of leagues. The new starting tight end for the Seattle Seahawks is a Top Five fantasy tight end after three weeks. Dissly may actually be a bit of a chalky play this week, but at his price, his presence in your lineup is required.
Defense
The highest-priced defense of the week, the Los Angeles Chargers (at MIA, $3,800), should rack up plenty of sacks against the floundering Dolphins. It’s hard to *not* recommend starting them, but many key members of the secondary are on the shelf, so expect some garbage time production to eat into the bottom line.
Los Angeles Rams (vs. TB), $3,500: The Rams have collected at least one turnover in two sacks in each of their first three games. Expect more of the same against the turnover-prone Jameis Winston.
Houston Texans (vs. CAR), $3,100: The Texans have racked up nine sacks in their last two games. Expect them to give Kyle Allen problems; the Carolina Panthers quarterback was sacked twice last week by an inferior Arizona Cardinals defense.
Indianapolis Colts (vs. OAK), $3,100: The Colts have several talented, disruptive defenders who are capable of getting to the quarterback and causing turnovers. Expect multiple instances of both against an Oakland Raiders offense that has problems getting out of its own way at times.
Dallas Cowboys (at NO), $3,000: The Cowboys field one of the league’s better defenses. It’s a bold strategy to start a defense that’s charged with the task of bottling up Alvin Kamara, but New Orleans Saints quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has yet to get things going this season. Odds are against him getting into a groove this week against a top-tier defense that inexplicably has yet to record an interception.
