14. Tennessee Titans (18)

Remember all the critics that were writing Marcus Mariota off last week after an embarrassing performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars, even though it wasn’t his fault?

Watching the Tennessee Titans fail to protect their quarterback in Week 3 was beyond embarrassing, and there’s simply no other way to sugarcoat it.

So to watch the Titans bounce back in a strong way by making sure Mariota didn’t get sacked once while throwing three touchdown passes during Sunday’s win over the Atlanta Falcons was a huge relief since it was the perfect example of just how dangerous this team can be.

At the beginning of the season, Tennessee was viewed as a team in the AFC that could potentially make a major leap to become a serious contender, which could still turn out to be the case.

Defeating a team like the Falcons was certainly impressive for the Titans, but when looking at all of the inconsistency surrounding this team, the next challenge will take place in Week 5 when hosting the 3-1 Buffalo Bills.

If the Titans can pull off another win on Sunday against the Bills, this will help build a stronger case when it comes to being a top contender in the AFC since they could still use all of the extra help possible.
