8. Seattle Seahawks (12)

The pressure was on the Seattle Seahawks heading into Sunday’s contest with the Arizona Cardinals since when seeing how the NFC West is shaping up, the team couldn’t afford to suffer a second loss in a row.

Back in Week 3, the Seahawks were expected to take advantage of playing against a New Orleans Saints team adjusting on offense to playing without Drew Brees, only to end up coming short at home.

Even if the argument can be made that Arizona is nowhere near the same level as Seattle from a competitive perspective, this still seemed like the ultimate trap game for the Seahawks.

Division games tend to bring out the best in some teams, and the last thing Seattle could afford to do is allow Arizona to come out hot.

Luckily, Russell Wilson made sure this wouldn’t happen after doing just enough on offense for the Seahawks to help pull out the 27-10 win.

Now, Seattle will be looking to make a statement on a shorter week by facing the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday in a game that will be extremely important for both teams as far as the NFC West standings are concerned.

Since the San Francisco 49ers are coming off a bye, neither team can afford a loss, especially Seattle.
