6. Chicago Bears (15)

First off, the fact that the Chicago Bears were able to defeat the Minnesota Vikings the way they did without Mitch Trubisky shows just how good this team can be when the defense is on top of their game.

There’s a reason why the Bears’ defense is considered one of the top units in the league, and watching the unit sack Kirk Cousins a grand total of six times certainly left plenty of smiles on the faces of Chicago fans.

But most importantly, until there’s an official update on Trubisky’s shoulder injury, it’s going to be difficult to determine just how good this team can be over the next few months when it comes to the best in the NFC.

Without question, Chase Daniel deserves a ton of credit for stepping up the way he did to fill in for Trubisky, but it’s still frustrating to look at the progress made by the former first-round pick in recent weeks.

Then again, the Bears clearly felt confident in Daniel being able to handle the responsibilities on offense for this exact situation, and having a top defense to rely on as well will make his job much easier to deal with if Trubisky misses an extended period of time.
