4. New Orleans Saints (8)

So much for all the critics that wrote off the New Orleans Saints after they lost Drew Brees to a wrist injury back in Week 2, right?

First off, when looking at all of the weapons the Dallas Cowboys have on offense, it was truly amazing to watch the Saints’ defense keep Dak Prescott and company in check for the most part by holding them to scoring just 10 points.

After shocking the Seattle Seahawks on the road during the previous week, New Orleans knew how much of a statement it would make in the NFC to take down arguably the best team in the Cowboys.

Thanks to the defense and Teddy Bridgewater continuing to do what he does best in managing the game, the Saints have bounced back strong since that disastrous outing in Week 2 against the Los Angeles Rams by improving to 3-1.

New Orleans clearly still has a long way to go when considering it’s only been two wins, but when looking at the obstacle they were facing once Brees went down, defeating a talented team in the Cowboys is huge.

As long as this team continues to play at the level football fans have seen on display over the last two weeks, the Saints should be just fine until their beloved star in Brees is healthy enough to return.
