3. San Francisco 49ers (6)

What a surprise the San Francisco 49ers have been so far in 2019, as this team was fortunate enough to go into the bye week with a 3-0 record before returning for what should be a tough Week 5 matchup against the Cleveland Browns.

Around this time last year, expectations were high surrounding the 49ers after finally seeming to have found a quarterback to build the offense around in Jimmy Garoppolo, but unfortunately the quarterback’s season would end early on due to a torn ACL.

Now that Garoppolo is back at full strength, San Francisco has quickly made a statement over being a top team to beat in the NFC, and will certainly give the Los Angeles Rams a run for the division title.

But before jumping too far ahead since there’s still three months of football left, the main focus for the 49ers at the moment needs to be on the Browns since this will be another difficult test for Kyle Shanahan’s squad.

Cleveland’s defense has not only looked sharp at times that could give Garoppolo problems on offense, but Baker Mayfield will also be a tough test for the 49ers as well on the defensive side of the football.
