29. Denver Broncos (29)

No matter how hard they try, the Denver Broncos just can’t seem to catch a break so far during the 2019 season, and Sunday just added to the list of frustrations.

After a late score that made it seem like the Broncos were finally on their way to that first win of 2019 over the Jacksonville Jaguars, the defense failed to step up when needed the most before Denver converted the game-winning field goal.

Sitting at 0-4 heading into October is the last position that Denver expected to be in since the whole point of acquiring Joe Flacco from the Baltimore Ravens was to see the offense finally receive the necessary spark to become contenders again.

For years, Denver’s defense has done most of the heavy listing since the offense always seemed to be dealing with quarterback issues, and one can only imagine how the unit is feeling after this recent loss to Jacksonville.

Looking ahead at the upcoming schedule, the next four games for the Broncos consist of three teams that reached the playoffs last season, with the Tennessee Titans being the odd-team out.

In other words, if the Broncos continue to struggle like Week 4, they could very well go all of October without a single win, which would be absolutely embarrassing.
