ATLANTA, GA – SEPTEMBER 29: A.J. Brown #11 of the Tennessee Titans makes a reception for a touchdown in front of Desmond Trufant #21 of the Atlanta Falcons during the first half of a game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on September 29, 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia. (Photo by Carmen Mandato/Getty Images) /

Wide Receivers

A.J. Brown, Tennessee Titans (6.0 percent owned)

The rookie wide receiver sparked the Titans offense with three catches for 94 yards and two scores. However, proceed with caution with Brown. He is a big-play threat that has a good rapport with Mariota but he is averaging just over four targets per game at this point.

Corey Davis, Tennessee Titans (46.2 percent owned)

While Brown and his two scores stole headlines, Davis as just as good and was targeted more. The first-round pick hauled in five of his six targets for 91 yards and a touchdown and has WR1 potential if the Titans offense can indeed get fully on track.

Mohamed Sanu, Atlanta Falcons (35.2 percent owned)

While Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley get all the love, Sanu continues to be a factor in the Atlanta offense. He has at least six targets in each week and is coming off of a nine-catch effort in Week 4. He may not have the upside of his teammates but his workload may actually be more consistent.

Diontae Johnson, Pittsburgh Steelers (6.2 percent owned)

Over the past two games, Johnson has nine catches on 12 targets for 129 yards and a touchdown in each contest. He’s clearly a favorite of Mason Rudolph and should be added in almost every league as he might be a reliable option in fantasy football moving forward.

Cole Beasley, Buffalo Bills (20.6 percent owned)

With Josh Allen’s injury, I’m a bit more skeptical of Beasley. However, he’s been a PPR monster to this point, averaging six catches per game on the year and registering 23 targets over the past two games. The yardage is never huge but the workload is without a doubt.

Geronimo Allison, Green Bay Packers (27.2 percent owned)

This is a speculative waiver wire add with Davante Adams’ status currently unknown. When he went out, Allison was one of the preferred targets and finished the game with three catches for 52 yards and a score. He could be worthwhile if Adams misses any time with the toe injury.
