Indianapolis Colts (2-2) at Kansas City Chiefs (4-0)

Sunday, October 6, 8:20PM ET

I’d like to think the Indianapolis Colts could come away from this one victorious. Heck, they could very well keep things close until the very end. Unfortunately for them, I see the Kansas City Chiefs walking away with the win no matter which way I look at it.

There’s just too much going for the Chiefs right now. They’re led by a quarterback who is changing the game before our very eyes. They’ve also got a respectable ground game, a surplus of offensive weapons, and a defense that bends but rarely breaks. Add in a reliable kicker, and you’ve got the recipe for a potential Super Bowl winner.

I won’t go that far just yet, but the pieces are falling into place for the Chiefs. As for the Colts, not so much. Jacoby Brissett is solid under center, and Marlon Mack is proving to be an exceptional option in the running game. Unfortunately, they just don’t provide enough of a spark to keep up on a scoreboard against a team that’s scoring a league-high 33.8 points per game.

The Colts will do their best to keep things interesting in this one. However, by the time the fourth quarter rolls around, I wouldn’t be shocked if it was out of reach. Mahomes and Co. get another win, providing further proof that they’re the cream of the crop in the AFC.

Prediction: Chiefs win 42-26
