New England Patriots (4-0) at Washington Redskins (0-4)

Sunday, October 6, 1PM ET

This is arguably the most lopsided matchup since the New England Patriots’ Week 2 annihilation of the Miami Dolphins. They’ve hit their stride through four weeks, while the Washington Redskins are just trying to put some competent football together on a weekly basis.

The Redskins really have been a mess this season. They’re 0-4, and are coming off a pitiful Week 4 performance that saw them get crushed by a rookie quarterback. Meanwhile, their own rookie gunslinger was a train wreck, tossing three interceptions and leading the D.C. offense to a measly three points.

Regardless of who’s under center for Washington, they don’t have the talent to overcome the Patriots in Week 5. This could be one of those games that’s over by halftime. If the Redskins can’t keep Daniel Jones from putting up 24 points, they’re going to get roasted by Tom Brady.

The Patriots have cruised through most of this season, and survived their first test in Week 4. Now they’ll get another easy win against the Redskins, who could soon be led by an interim head coach.

Prediction: Patriots win 31-10
