Baltimore Ravens (2-2) at Pittsburgh Steelers (1-3)

Sunday, October 6, 1PM ET

When it comes to AFC North showdowns, anything can happen. We saw two examples of that last week, when the Cleveland Browns grounded the Baltimore Ravens and the Pittsburgh Steelers flattened the Cincinnati Bengals. It only makes sense to predict another surprise, right?

This time, it’ll come in the form of an upset (or sorts) victory for the Steelers. After starting the season 0-3, they finally earned a win last Monday against the Bengals. Mason Rudolph is starting to get a hold of this being an NFL quarterback thing, although there’s still more work to be done. The defense is also a work in progress, but they feature plenty of young playmakers.

The Ravens, on the other hand, have suffered a painful plummet back to Earth after looking like a true contender in the first two weeks. A loss to the Kansas City Chiefs was forgivable, but being blown out by the Browns wasn’t. Can they stop the bleeding in Week 5? I’m guessing not.

The Steelers welcome the Ravens to town, and abuse Lamar Jackson for four quarters. It’s still close, but impressive performances from James Conner and the Pittsburgh defense result in the Steelers’ second-straight win that gets them back in the race.

Prediction: Steelers win 35-27
