1. Over 80 combined points scored

The Buccaneers and Rams just combined to put up 95 points last Sunday. That’s a little shy of the 105-point game where Los Angeles topped Kansas City last year. While the Rams have plenty of veterans and recognizable names on defense, they have a bad habit of getting into shootouts.

It’s understandable, considering the offensive pieces the Rams have. They can out-gun most teams. However, we saw the limits of that strategy against the Buccaneers, who simply beat the Rams with turnovers and their own offensive stars.

The Seahawks might not have as many pieces as the Buccaneers, but they are more than capable of keeping up with the Rams. As I mentioned in the intro, Los Angeles’ two wins against the Seahawks last year were by a combined seven points. In Week 5, the Rams went on the road and snuck out of Seattle with a 33-31 win. Then, in Week 10 they won, 36-31.

With the Rams coming off of an explosive week and Wilson recently removed from a 400-yard, four-touchdown performance in Week 3, things could get off to a fast start in Week 5. The two teams are already prone to having large, offensive battles. Why not take it a step farther and have a game with over 80 points?
