The Chicago Bears travel to London for their Week 5 matchup against the Oakland Raiders. Here are five players who must step up and shine in order to come away with a win.

The Chicago Bears travel across the pond in Week 5 to take on the Oakland Raiders. They play the first game in London this season. Here is an interesting fact for this game: this is the inaugural game played at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The Bears go into the game riding a three-game winning streak. They dropped the first game of the season to the Green Bay Packers but now find themselves tied with them for the NFC North division lead.

This is an important game for the Bears. They face an Oakland team they should be able to beat while the Packers take on a tough matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. A win for Chicago and they could be atop the division all by themselves going into the bye week.

The Bears impressed many with their dominant win against the Minnesota Vikings. They shut down the NFL’s leading rusher, Dalvin Cook, holding him to just 35 rushing yards. More impressive was the fact they did it with a number of reserves playing. Akiem Hicks, a player who feasted on the Vikings last season, Bilal Nichols, and Roquan Smith were all out yet others stepped up and helped get this win.

Offensively, the Bears also were without key players. Taylor Gabriel and Kyle Long missed the game completely and quarterback Mitchell Trubisky left early in the first quarter with a dislocated shoulder and partial labrum tear on his non-throwing arm. Again, the reserves came in and did a good job covering for them.

The Raiders are a surprise team with a record of 2-2. They weren’t expected to contend but find themselves in second place in the AFC West. Still, they don’t have the weapons to be able to beat the Bears. They’ve been outscored by 23 points this season. The Bears should beat this team but this is the NFL and anything can happen. The same was said about them beating the Denver Broncos and it took a miracle for it to happen.

In order for the Chicago Bears to come away with the victory, these five players need to step up and shine.
