Here are the latest head coaches that should consider themselves on the hot seat for NFL Week 5 of the 2019 season.

Now that September is officially in the books, hot seats are heating up more than ever for certain head coaches entering Week 5 of the 2019 NFL season, and it seems like it’s only a matter of time before the first one is officially let go.

It’s one thing to allow certain coaches a couple of games during a new season, but with October officially underway, some teams are going to begin to wonder if it’s time to make a change if the losses continue to pile up.

From Mike Zimmer’s Minnesota Vikings suffering another embarrassing loss to the Chicago Bears to Dan Quinn watching the Atlanta Falcons drop to 1-3, there’s plenty to discuss heading into the first weekend of October action.

As for which head coach deserves the award for facing the most pressure, well it’s difficult to top what’s been going on with Jay Gruden and the Washington Redskins.

After falling shy of a playoff berth last season, the Redskins seemed like they could potentially be a surprise contender in the NFC if their defense found a way to play at a high level.

Instead, Washington enters October still in search of their first win, and the issue of trying to figure out which quarterback will be the best option moving forward after Dwayne Haskins replaced Case Keenum in the middle of the team’s Week 4 game.

While the argument can be made that sticking with Haskins would help Gruden receive some benefit of the doubt since the Ohio State product is clearly a work in progress, this still may not be good enough to let him off the hook.
