3. Mike Zimmer, Vikings

Do the Minnesota Vikings regret paying Kirk Cousins all that money from his ridiculous contract?

The Vikings may be in decent shape entering Week 5 at 2-2, but the fact that Cousins only has three touchdown passes to his name through four games with the current weapons on offense shows how frustrating things are in Minnesota.

Despite the high expectations last season after reaching the NFC Championship the year before, the Vikings failed to even earn a Wild Card spot in the NFC. And while Cousins received plenty of blame due to poor play, Mike Zimmer deserves even more.

Similar to O’Brien, Zimmer has found his name on the hot seat numerous times over the years, and it’s difficult not to wonder if the Vikings would ever consider moving on from their head coach if the team continues to struggle to win games.

From a talent perspective, it’s tough to defend a team like Minnesota when they fail to live up to the high expectations as a playoff contender in the NFC, and watching their recent loss to the Chicago Bears was beyond embarrassing.

A few weeks ago, the Vikings seemed to have a favorable matchup on the road against the New York Giants, but Daniel Jones has given the team new light.

In other words, the pressure will be higher than expected for Zimmer come Sunday if Minnesota fails to take down New York.
