NFL Notebook, Week 4: Quarterback roulette, worst teams, weekly awards

Fantasy Fixture
As the season rolls on, it’s only appropriate that every week I discuss a little about America’s new favorite pastime: Fantasy Football.
When I said earlier that this was a strange week, that definitely included fantasy football. Through the first quarters of Sunday’s games, Foster Moreau, Troymaine Pope, Ricky Seals-Jones, Trevor Davis and Brandon Bolden all had a touchdown. It was so slow of start that over an hour into gameday, the most relevant players to score were T.J. Hockenson and Wayne Gallman.
Thank goodness Tyrell Williams scored less than a minute into the second quarter, right? It’s actually incredible who performed well and who didn’t perform well.
Chase Daniel outperformed Tom Brady, for crying out loud. I couldn’t resist listing my favorite studs and duds of the week below. (All fantasy statistics come from an ESPN PPR league.)
Studs
- Jameis Winston at Rams: 29.3 points
- Nick Chubb at Ravens: 39.3 points
- A.J. Brown at Falcons: 24.4 points
- Ricky Seals-Jones at Ravens: 17.2 points
Duds
- Tom Brady at Bills: 3.7 points
- DeAndre Hopkins vs Panthers: 7.1 points
- Odell Beckham Jr at Ravens: 4 points
