Uniform of the Week: New Orleans Saints

There were some enticing options this week. The Saints’ uniforms looked great once again, but I picked them last week. The Chargers’ powder blues are elite, but they’re the team’s normal uniforms now. The Falcons’ and Lions’ throwbacks are clean, but maybe too simple for my tastes. The Ravens’ all-purple threads stood out, but those numbers could be better.

Hmmm, let’s make it back-to-back for New Orleans.

Hands of the Week: Dawson Knox

It’s hard enough to catch a ball when falling down, so Knox upped the ante and did it with a defender draped all over him. Knox gets the nod in an underwhelming week for catches.

Risky Business Award: Travis Kelce

The throw by Patrick Mahomes is ridiculous enough, so major props here to Kelce who starts to pitch the ball to LeSean McCoy before he lands on the ground. This could have ended very badly. Ballsy move, Kelce.

Buffalo Award: This Couple

All I have to say: Only in Buffalo.

Happy Feet Award: Gardner Minshew

I don’t get it. Minshew made the entire Denver defense and their siblings miss on this play. Long live Minshew Mania.

Articles of the Week

Brothers Dan and Todd Salem do a good job of revisiting the weirdness that was Week 4.

Even though they lost, are the Lions legit? Cody Williams thinks so, and maybe you should, too.
