3. Colts hand Chiefs first loss

One key takeaway from Week 4 surrounding the Kansas City Chiefs is this team is certainly beatable after seeing how close the Detroit Lions came to doing so.

What Patrick Mahomes has been able to accomplish over the last two seasons at quarterback for the Chiefs has been truly incredible to witness, and while he’s proven to overcome all sorts of obstacles, the Indianapolis Colts could give him some trouble.

In a game that seemed like it would be easy to win, the Colts actually came up short last weekend on the losing end against the Oakland Raiders in a contest that could come back to haunt them down the road if they’re fighting for a playoff spot.

To be one of the best, Indianapolis knows the importance of proving they can compete with the best of teams, and a win over Kansas City would certainly make a huge statement over being one of the best in the AFC.

Of course, this is always easier said than done since the high-powered offense of the Chiefs alone is enough for the Colts to worry about.

But if Indianapolis can find a way to keep Mahomes in check while Jacoby Brissett does just enough on offense, this potential upset shouldn’t be ruled out.
