NFL Week 5, 2019: 20 Bold predictions to consider

15. Minshew records multiple turnovers, no touchdowns
Thanks to the miraculous play behind Gardner Minshew since Nick Foles went down with an injury, the Jacksonville Jaguars have been able to work their way back into the conversation for the AFC South race.
The fact that every team within the division at the moment is sitting at 2-2 shows the Jaguars have just as good of a chance as their rivals, and it’s going to be fun watching Minshew moving forward when looking at the excitement he’s brought to the offense.
With that being said, Sunday could end up being another one of those difficult battles for Minshew and the Jaguars against a tough defense in the Carolina Panthers, who have all of a sudden put together back-to-back wins following an 0-2 start.
After limiting the Houston Texans to scoring just 10 points in Week 4, the Panthers have every reason in the world to feel confident in their chances of displaying another strong outing on defense when facing the Jaguars.
Minshew certainly deserves plenty of credit for the spark he’s provided on offense for Jacksonville over the last few weeks since all hope seemed lost after Week 1, but Carolina seems like a defense that may be too much to handle.
