14. Broncos remain winless

After years of struggling to find a quarterback to build the franchise around, the Denver Broncos seemed hopeful that Joe Flacco could at least be the short-term answer under center, and help take some of the extra pressure off the defense.

Through four games, the Broncos look like the same team from previous years that just can’t seem to get anything consistent enough going on offense, and it’s completely unfair to the players on the defensive side of the football.

Even this past weekend when Denver seemed to be on the verge of finally pulling off that first win of 2019, the Jacksonville Jaguars ruined those plans by rallying in the final minutes to earn the 26-24 victory.

As for what to expect in Week 5, while the Broncos could benefit from Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers being a rivalry game, when comparing the two teams at the moment, this doesn’t seem like it will even matter for Denver.

With the Kansas City Chiefs continuing to play some of their best football, the Chargers realize the importance of every game within the division since Los Angeles is already sitting at 2-2 heading into Week 5.

So if the Broncos were hoping to finally earn that first win of 2019, don’t be surprised if they end up having to wait at least another week.
