NFL Week 5: Ranking the best games to watch on Sunday
By Dan Parzych
4. Saints vs. Buccaneers
Similar to the scenario with the Giants and Vikings, a few weeks ago, Sunday’s meeting between the New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers seemed far from exciting.
While the Saints were expected to be one of the top contenders in the NFC once again, it was the Buccaneers that seemed to be heading towards another year of rebuilding after starting off 2019 on a rough note.
After last weekend’s unexpected win over the Los Angeles Rams, Tampa Bay is all of a sudden earning some respect across the league, especially with the kind of fire power Jameis Winston has to work with, such as Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.
Division rivalries always tend to bring out the best in some teams, and if the Buccaneers can find a way to earn another impressive win over a serious playoff contender in the Saints, it will only make a stronger case for Bruce Arians and company.
Of course, New Orleans is playing with all sorts of confidence as well after the team has pulled off big wins over the Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys since Teddy Bridgewater filled in for an injured Drew Brees.
Looking at these two teams, this could very well turn out to be one of the highest-scoring contests of Week 4 if the Saints and Buccaneers live up to the hype.
