1. Who gets the win across the pond?

Week 5 in London isn’t a difficult pick. The Raiders are a good team, but missing a defensive player and captain like Burfict will hurt. The upside is they are facing a Bears quarterback in Chase Daniels that might yield some opportunities for that Oakland defense.

As for the offense, it’s business as usual. Carr was good last week at Indianapolis, throwing 21 of 31 for 189 yards and two touchdowns in the Raiders 31-24 win. Against a stingy Bears’ defense, he won’t have a lot of margin for error.

Daniels won’t either. He’ll need to make plays and not just rely on the Chicago defense. The journeyman quarterback is capable of a solid Week 5. Given the way Trubisky has underperformed in 2019, this could very well be an audition for something other than the backup role.

With London providing no home-field advantage for the Raiders, and Burfict being out, it’s hard to pick the Raiders. Chicago has the better defense, and Daniels has shown he might be just good enough to win. Add the fact that Khalil Mack might want to show what Gruden is missing out on, and Week 5 in London could be a long day for the Silver and Black.

Final Score: Raiders 13, Bears 16
